Although violence against women is a much more known fact today than in the past, we have difficulty in naming the violence we experience right away, and we can feel shame and guilt and cannot easily get out of the relationship. The solidarity established with women in Mor Çatı shows us the power of women against this violence as well as the complex and difficult nature of male violence. In this podcast series, we discuss the effects of male violence on women, the reasons that keep women in a relationship with violence, and the struggles of women to stay away from violence, based on the experience of Mor Çatı.
